Custom skills
Skills are reusable workflows and knowledge files that agents draw on when executing tasks. Pressmaster ships with pre-built system skills covering research, quality assurance, content strategy, communication, virality, hooks, and more.
Don’t create custom skills at the start. Use the pre-built ones and get familiar with how the agent works first. Over time you’ll notice patterns — things you keep explaining the same way, or workflows that aren’t quite right for your account. That’s when to create a skill.
To create one, tell the agent what you want: “Create a skill for how I like to handle Reddit comments” or “Build a skill for our weekly content review process.” The agent drafts it for you.
Recommended workflows
These five workflows are high-leverage, low credit usage, and give you a strong foundation before running more complex agent tasks.
1. Weekly business interview
Schedule your agent to send you an interview link once a week. Spend 30 minutes talking through what you learned in your business. This accumulates authentic raw insights only you can have, trains your Content Twin continuously, and keeps your content grounded in real experience rather than generic AI output.
2. Topic discovery (2x per week)
Set your agent to analyze your twin, brand guide, and live web data twice a week to surface topics your audience genuinely cares about. The agent cross-references your expertise with what your audience is searching for and talking about, and returns a list of authentic angles built around you.
3. Bi-weekly content performance review
Every two weeks, your agent scans your content library and analytics to surface what’s working, what’s underperforming, and what’s missing. It returns a prioritized list of content ideas based on your actual data, so you iterate on evidence rather than instinct.
4. Note-taker scan (weekly)
Connect your note-taker (Fireflies, Fathom, Granola, or similar) and set a weekly scan. Your agent reviews recent call transcripts and extracts the strongest ideas, stories, and insights worth turning into content. One good call can produce content you’d never think to write on your own.
5. SEO/GEO campaign
Connect Google Analytics and Google Search Console, then set your agent to run a continuous SEO content campaign. It does keyword research, identifies gaps, plans topics, monitors what’s ranking for competitors, and keeps your content pipeline loaded with search-optimized ideas. This replaces a $200/month SEO tool.

When you have an idea on the go, send a voice note to your agent on Telegram or WhatsApp and tell it to save the idea. The agent stores it in your account. Your best thoughts happen in the moment, capture them before they disappear.
Credit tips
- Use the standard creation flow for single posts. For a quick LinkedIn post or article, use Pressmaster’s default creation mode, not the agent. Agents are best for multi-step, research-heavy, or scheduled tasks.
- Start fresh sessions. Don’t extend one chat thread indefinitely. Long sessions carry more context, which costs more credits. When a thread gets long, start a new session and keep things focused per task.
- Size your tasks to your current need. A 90-day content plan costs significantly more credits than a 7-day plan. Start with shorter horizons and expand once you’ve validated the output quality.
Advanced use cases
Competitor tracking
Find the top 50 creators or thought leaders in your industry. Set your agent to run a weekly audit of what they’re posting, which hooks are winning, and what topics are gaining traction. Your Strategist agent then repurposes the findings using your brand voice and positioning.
The window that matters is 24 to 72 hours. Repurposing a trending post within that window gives you a 20 to 30% chance of your version performing well. Running this daily tends to be too much. Weekly is the right cadence.
Email outreach automation
Connect your Gmail account through the agent connectors. Your agent can send interview links to clients, team members, or collaborators on a schedule using your inbox. Give your agent a dedicated email address if you want a clean separation, then define exactly what the email should look like. Without a template, the agent will improvise, so specify the format upfront.
