Connect your Ghost publication to Pressmaster using Ghost’s Admin API key and publish articles directly from Pressmaster. This integration works with both self-hosted Ghost and Ghost Pro.

Prerequisites

  • A Ghost publication (self-hosted or Ghost Pro)
  • Admin access to generate an Admin API key in Ghost

Get your Ghost Admin API key

Open Ghost Settings

In your Ghost Admin panel, go to Settings > Integrations.

Add a custom integration

Click Add custom integration and enter a name (for example, “Pressmaster”). Click Add.

Copy your credentials

Ghost displays the integration details. Copy the Admin API Key and the API URL, you’ll need both in Pressmaster.

Connect Ghost in Pressmaster

Open Integrations

Go to Settings > Integrations > Blog in Pressmaster and toggle the blog switcher on.

Select Ghost

Choose Ghost as your platform.

Enter your credentials

Paste your Ghost API URL and Admin API Key into the corresponding fields.

Connect

Click Connect Ghost. Pressmaster verifies the connection and displays a success message.

Set publishing preferences

In the Manage Ghost Integration window, select whether articles should be published immediately or saved as drafts. Choose an author from the list, then click Update Ghost Settings.

After connecting

Articles published from Pressmaster appear in the Posts section of your Ghost publication. If you saved them as drafts, review and publish them from Ghost Admin when you’re ready.
Ghost integration works with both Ghost.org (Ghost Pro) and self-hosted Ghost installations. Use the same Admin API key setup steps for either option.
